PARENTS
The annual Fish Fry/Carnival/Auction will be held October 4. In an effort
to support our school, we are asking that all families participate in the auction. This is how you
can help: each class will sponsor a themed basket. Please send items that fit into the
designated theme for your child’s grade level. We will place all of these items in appropriate
boxes in Mrs. Rose’s room. After we collect the items, we will create baskets that will be
auctioned off on October 4th. In order for this to work, we need EVERYONE to participate by
bringing in items. The class themes are as follows:
- 7th grade: Children’s book basket (suggested items: new children’s books, blank journals, a
portable lab desk, a toy to go with particular books, Color Wonder books with markers, fun pads,
etc.)- 8th grade: Titans basket (suggested items: hats, plates, stickers, t-shirts, mugs, etc—look at
Wal-Mart and Kroger for the not-so-expensive items)- 9th and 10th grade: Girly Girl basket (suggested items: nail polish, polish remover, lip glosses,
hair accessories, scented lotions)- 11th grade: Ipod basket (suggested items: itunes cards, ipod cases, ear buds, etc.)
- 12th grade: Star Wars basket (suggested items: action figures, stickers, small Lego sets, etc.)
